Oral solution
composition: Each 1 ml contains:
Trimethoprim 80 mg
Sulfadiazine sodium 400 mg
Excipients: up to 1 ml.
Indications: It is used for the treatment of diseases of the respiratory
and digestive system caused by E. coli, salmonella, pasteurella,
klebsiella, hemophilus, staphylococcus and streptococcus in poultry,
lambs and calves.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to trimethoprim and / or
sulfonamides.
Not to be given to animals with impaired liver or kidney function
Side effects: loss of appetite.
Drug interaction: It should not be used with antivirals (amantidine) and
should not be used with antacids, diuretics and anti coccidiosis drugs.
Usage: orally, after dissolving it with drinking water.
Dosage and duration of use:
Poultry: For treatment: 2 ml / 5 liters of drinking water for 3 -5 days.
Lambs and calves: 1 ml / 15 kg of body weight daily, orally for 5 Days.
Withdrawal period: Meat: 10 days .
Storage: Store in a cool, dry and dark place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C
