Water soluble powder
Composition: Each 100 g contains:
Doxycycline Hyclate 50 g
Excipients: up to 100 g.
Indications: A broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat respiratory diseases such as chronic
respiratory disease, sinusitis, and inflammation of the synovial membranes of the joints caused by some types of mycoplasma, as well as infections of the digestive system caused by E. coli, Pasteurella in poultry, calves and lambs.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.
In cases of liver injury.
Not given to large ruminants.
Side effects: yellow discoloration of the teeth.
The presence of divalent and trivalent electrolytes in water and feed may reduce the absorption of doxycycline.
Do not use with antacids.
Usage: by drinking water.
Dosage and duration of use:
Poultry: 40 g / 200 liters of drinking water for 4 – 5 days.
Calves and lambs: 1 g / 100 kg of body weight in drinking water for 5 – 7 days.
Withdrawal period: Meat: poultry 7 days – calves and lambs: 14 days.
Other warnings:
It is preferable to consume the drug after dissolving it with water within 12 hours.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry and dark place at 30°C.
