composition: Each 100 g contains:
Apramycin sulfate 25 g
Excipients: up to 100 g.
Indications: An antibiotic belonging to the group of aminoglycosides, effective against Gram-negative bacteria (coli
bacilli – Salmonella – Klebsiella – Bordetella), Mycoplasma and Staphylococcus. It is used for poultry to treat intestinal infections and coliform septicemia in rabbits and intestinal infections caused by coliform bacilli. And salmonella in calves and lambs.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance
For animals suffering from kidney failure or liver lesions.
Drug interaction: Not used with other aminoglycosides.
Aminoglycosides may have a negative effect on kidney function. Administration of aminoglycosides to animals with renal insufficiency or in combination with substances that also affect renal function may pose a risk of poisoning.
Side effects: mild gastrointestinal disturbance (loss of appetite and diarrhea).
Usage: Preparing the solution: Add 4 liters of water to the preparation and dissolve it well, then add the solution to the prescribed amount of water.
Dosages:
Poultry: 100 g/100 liters of drinking water for 7 days.
Rabbits: 100 g / 125 liters of drinking water for 5 – 8 days.
Young non-ruminant calves: 1 g / 3 – 5 kg live weight for 5 days.
Suckling lambs: 1 g / 12.5 kg live weight for 3 – 5 days.
Withdrawal period: Meat: Calves and lambs: 28 days. Poultry: 7 days.
Warnings: Not given to animals with active microbiological digestion.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry and dark place at 30°C.
