Oral solution
Composition: Each 100 ml contains:
Carbocisteine 5 g
Excipients: up to 100 ml.
Indication:
A mucolytic drug that reduces the production of excessive mucus secretions
and works to dissolve phlegm. It is effective as an auxiliary treatment in cases of
bronchitis in poultry, as it works to break up the mucous masses into small parts,
which facilitates their exit from the respiratory tract. It is also used in cases of
Pasteurella infection in sheep and cows.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to carbocisteine.
Drug interaction: none.
Side effects: Allergic symptoms may occur in some animals that disappear when
the drug is stopped.
Usage: Oral solution via drinking water.
Dosages:
Poultry: 100 ml / 200 liters of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
Cattle and sheep: 1 ml/10 kg live weight for 5 – 7 days.
Withdrawal period: Meat and eggs: 2 days.
Warnings: none.
Preservation: It is kept in a cool, dry and dark place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
