Water soluble powder
Composition: Each 1 g contains:
Colistin sulfate 1200000 IU
Excipients: up to 1 g.
Indications: An antibiotic used in cases of diseases caused by Gram-negative bacteria, in
poultry, calves and lambs, especially in the case of gastrointestinal infections caused by E. coli, Klebsiella, Salmonella, Pasteurella and Pseudomonas.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to colistin
Usage: orally after dissolving it with drinking water.
Dosage and duration of use:
Poultry: 100 g / 200 liters of drinking water for 5- 7 days.
Lambs and calves: 5 g / 100 kg body weight twice daily for 5 -7 days.
Withdrawal period: Meat and eggs: 2 days.
Other warnings:
Not given to ruminant animals.
The water-dissolved preparation should be used within 24 hours.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry and dark place at 30°C.
