composition: Each 1g contains:
Doxycycline Hyclate 250 mg
Colistin sulfate 1200000 IU
Excipients: up to 1 g.
Indications: It is used to treat infections of the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory tract caused by micro organisms sensitive to doxycycline and/or colistin such as Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E-coli, Klebsiella, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Streptococcus aureus. In poultry, lambs and calves.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation.
For animals suffering from kidney failure or liver lesions.
Side effects: Teeth discoloration or hypersensitivity reactions may occur in young animals.
Digestive changes, such as intestinal dysbiosis, gas buildup or mild diarrhea may appear.
Drug interaction: Not to be given in combination with penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones, and cycloserine.
Usage: orally after dissolving it with drinking water.
Dosage and duration of use:
Poultry: 100 g / 200 liters of drinking water for 4- 5 days.
Lambs and calves: 1 g / 20 kg body weight twice daily for 4 -5 days.
Withdrawal period: For meat:
Calves and lambs: 14 days.
Poultry: 7 days.
Other warnings: Not given to ruminant animals.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry and dark place at 30°C.
