Water soluble powder
Composition: Each 100 g contains:
Gentamycin sulfate 16 g
Doxycycline hyclate 10 g
Excipients: up to 100 g.
Indications: It is used in poultry, calves and lambs in the following cases:
– To treat respiratory diseases (chronic respiratory disease – sinusitis – inflammation of the bronchial tubes and air sacs).
– To treat intestinal infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria (coli bacilli – Salmonella).
– To treat joint infections with staphylococci and streptococci.
Contraindications:
– Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines and/or aminoglycosides.
– For animals suffering from kidney failure or liver lesions.
Drug interaction: It should not be given in combination with penicillins, cephalosporins, or quinolones.
Side effects: tooth discoloration in small animals. Hypersensitivity reactions. Gastrointestinal symptoms may occur
(Moderate diarrhea and gas accumulation).
Usage: Orally after dissolving it with drinking water.
Dosages and duration of use:
Poultry: 100 g / 200 liters of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
Calves: 1 g / 20 kg of body weight within 4 – 6 days.
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours
Withdrawal period:
Meat: 7 days – poultry, calves and lambs: 14 days.
Eggs: 3 days.
Other warnings: It should not be given to animals with active microbial digestion.
Preservation: It is kept in a cool, dry and dark place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
Packaging: The preparation is packaged in aluminum envelopes of 100 – 250 – 500 – 1000 g, and plastic bags of 500 – 1000 g.
Valid for three years from manufacturing date.
