Oral suspension
Composition: Each 100 ml contains:
Oxyclosanide 6 g
Levamisole Hydrochloride 3 g
Excipients: up to 100 ml.
Indications: A broad-spectrum anthelmintic suspension used for the treatment
and control of gastrointestinal roundworm infestations (Haemonix, Astergia,
Nematoders, traychostrongylus, Cupria, Osophostomum, Bonostomum Chabertia, Cuperia), lungworms (Dictylocoulus vivipars and their larvae) and tapeworms (Monesia). in cattle, sheep and camels. It also expels most adult stages of hepatic worms found in the bile duct of the liver.
Contraindications: It is not given to animals suffering from liver dysfunction
Animals should not be treated during the 14-day period before or after treatment with organophosphorous compounds.
Side effects: Regular doses of levamisole rarely cause side effects. At higher doses, transient symptoms may appear, including head shaking, salivation, sweating, coughing, hyperventilation, vomiting, colic spasms, and mild muscle tremors.
It is more likely to occur in cattle than sheep. Oxyclosanide can cause a slight softening of the stool in cattle with occasional increased frequency of
defecation and transient decreased appetite.
Drug interaction: Do not combine Levazanid Gold with pyrantel or organophosphates
Usage: Oral dosage.
Dosages: Cattle, sheep and camels: 2.5 ml of the preparation / 10 kg of body weight.
Withdrawal period: Meat: 28 days.
Milk: 5 days.
Other warnings: Do not exceed the prescribed doses.
Do not freeze the preparation.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Preservation: Store in a cool, dry and dark place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
