Water soluble powder
Composition: Each 100 g contains:
Streptomycin sulfate 50 g Excipients: up to 100 g.
Indications: A limited-spectrum antibiotic that affects gram-negative bacteria such as coli
bacilli, salmonella, pasteurella. It is used to treat infections that affect the digestive system in poultry.
Gastrointestinal infections and diarrhea in calves and young lambs.
Contraindications:
– Hypersensitivity to aminoglycosides.
– For animals suffering from renal insufficiency or hepatic lesions.
Drug interaction: It is not combined with other aminoglycosides.
Usage: Oral administration via drinking water.
Dosages: poultry: 50 g / 200 liters of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
The water-soluble preparation is used within 24 hours of preparation.
Calves and lambs: 1 g / 50 kg live weight with drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
Withdrawal period: Meat: 4 days.
Warnings: It should not be given to calves and ruminant lambs (active microbiological
digestion).
Storage: Store in a cool, dry and dark place at 30°C.
