Water soluble powder
Composition: Each 100 g contains:
Sulfadiazine (sodium) 40 g trimethoprim 8 g
Excipients: up to 100 g.
INDICATIONS: The product is used to treat diseases of the respiratory and digestive system
caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Shows wide efficacy against E.coli,
Pasteurella, and salmonella infections, including: septicemia, white diarrhea, and fowl cholera in poultry, in addition to cases of pneumonia, kidney infection, and gastroenteritis in calves and lambs.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to trimethoprim and/or sulphonamides.
Animals with impaired renal and/or hepatic function.
Drug interaction: It should not be combined with antivirals (amantadine) and it should not be given with acidity modifiers and diuretics.
Method of use: Orally with drinking water.
Dosages:
Poultry: 40 g / 200 liters of drinking water for 5 consecutive days.
Calves and lambs: 1 g / 15 kg of body weight in drinking water for 5
consecutive days.
Withdrawal period: Meat: Poultry: 7 days. Calves and lambs: 10 days.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry and dark place at 30°C.
